Welcome to the Hyde Park Disabilities Blog!

Howdy. I'm glad you found your way here. My name is George, and I'll be updating this site on behalf of the residents of DARE, the Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Conference, the 5th and 4th Ward aldermanic offices, Illinois Older Women's League (OWL), the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, and other neighborhood groups who are concerned with accessibility issues in our community.

Our hope is that this blog will become a location where you can report problems, concerns, and questions, which can then be channeled to the appropriate people for response. Feel free to post comments (I will try to moderate, so no naughty stuff).

Thanks for stopping by. CLICK THE "COMMENTS" LINK BELOW TO POST YOUR COMMENTS.

This looks like an easy way to let people see how to post a comment. Somebody try it and see if it works. I can delete the comments whenever.

Join us on June 16 (Saturday), 9:00 at the DARE building, for our first "Walk and Roll." We'll check out 55th Street from the Lakefront to Ellis for disabilities issues.
